side note

My school is just plain weird.
Half the time we complain about things and it's the norm. But when we talk to people who have never gone, we find ourselves trying to explain everything only to realize it's a unique school.
I used to think that 45 minute classes in junior high lasted for eternity; now, 100 minutes seem like nothing to me.
The reason I'm bringing this up? A club at my school, Generation Hope, is doing a fundraiser to donate to the Sophie Lancaster Foundation, in which I am making my Starburst wrapper heart pins. I never thought I would see the day when I would actually sell them. However, it is for a good cause, so it is more understandable for them being sold out everyday. They are pretty damn cute.
I might post pictures later. But first, I need to make more of said pins.
Also, I most likely will be giving the lecture on New Age religions in my World Comparative Religions class this semester. I need to study. A lot. Next week, I believe, we shall find out who shall be directing in the Student Directed One Acts. Hopefully my script shall be accepted.
Tomorrow I have detention (ha) for the first time in a long time. Stupid tardies. But I will be entertaining myself by drawing and working on my script (since it is an ongoing and never ending process). I just hope there's no obnoxious middle school/lower classmen kids like last time.
Cei is crying and knocking over things.

happy valentine's day

Yesterday was pretty cool. Went to my cousin's birthday party, hung out with the cousins, went to see Valentine's Day (it was cute) and get boba with my best friend, and then we headed back to my cousins' for another late night of playing games. We play Balderdash in which our answers not only got raunchy, but they mostly made fun of my brother and his douche bag wrestling ways.
Believe me, if you knew him you would understand.

This is the first year I am celebrating this joyous and fun commercial holiday of candy and uber cheesy love with someone.

After learning that my best friend got me something when I didn't think he would, I scrambled to try and come up with something original, cute, and not expensive.
If you've seen the movie Up, there is a badge they have that's a grape soda bottle cap.
It's one of my favorite movies and I saw it with him which was really cute. His favorite bottle soda is Orange Crush and he loves cookies and cookie cakes. So by adding ideas together, here is my valentine's gift to him:

I wrote a small letter which included the nerdy way to say I love you

And then bottled it up

Filled another bottle with sweethearts

Wrapped all the bottles with tissue paper (that way they don't make any noise when I carry them and give away the surprise)


And then I got him a cookie cake WITH cookie monster on it. (since he calls me cupcake monster, I call him cookie monster)

The bottle that has the note is closed with a cork that way I can keep the cap and make the badge for him :)

So now I am off to finish getting ready. My kitten is finally asleep on my bed. She was spazing out and meowing like crazy all morning.

cards for today

Once again my dreams were odd last night. And of course I cannot have an odd dream without odd appearances of different people.
I consulted my tarot cards for my play and two cards stuck out.
The nine of spades and the six of hearts.

Anxieties/Worries and Nostalgia/Pleasure...

If the appearance was made by FMW then those two cards would make perfect sense. Maybe because I loosely based a character off of him in my play... but it wasn't him.
Of course, I'm going to do what I do best and not say the full meaning of all this.

On a happier note, tomorrow is Valentine's Day.
Am I excited?
I have no clue.
However, someone's getting a cute gift. :)

Well, I am off to (supposedly) my cousin's birthday party.
Cei is curled up, fast asleep on my clothes. She's so adorable.
